Isn't that the kind of active organization you want to be a part of?
Our History
The History of the Ponca City Area Chamber of Commerce stems back to the year 1894. It began as the Commercial Club and was organized to advance the interests of commerce during the big business boom resulting from gas, oil, industry, and real estate.
On November 8, 1974, the Commercial Club was incorporated as the Ponca City Chamber of Commerce and was reincorporated as the Ponca City Area Chamber of Commerce in 1985.
Today, the Chamber's mission is much the same as it was over 130 years ago: “to serve as the business community's catalyst for leading the Ponca City area into a growing, diversified, and prosperous future.”
What Is the Chamber?
The Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit voluntary organization which unites the efforts of business and professional people to improve the economy and to build a better community. Investors devote their time and resources to accomplish what no one person can do alone.
The Chamber is not a government agency, a branch of City Hall, nor a state or federally supported organization. We are funded by our investors and exist to serve them.

The Ponca City Area Chamber of Commerce recognizes the importance of personal marketing with fellow business people. You'll find the opportunity to promote and expand your business through personal involvement on one of our Standing Committees and by participating in Chamber-sponsored events.
